The James Lascelles Quartet


G.T. Moore will be joining The James Lascelles Quartet for two gis in Dorset.  Led by James Lascelles (Frank Zappa/Joan Armatrading) on keys and percussion. With Mikey Bailey  (Boney M/Swing Out Sister) on Bass, Bud Beadle (Manfred Mann/Ginger Baker) on horns and Tim Herniman steps in on sax, violin and percussion. Thur 11 Dec, 7:30pm. G.T. Moore & The Roots Connection
is G.T.'s latest project. Bringing roots regggae with a four man line up: James Lascelles (Frank Zappa / Lee 'Scratch' Perry) on keys, Richard Bailey (Bob Marley / Jeff Beck) on drums and Kuma Harada (Mick Taylor / Peter Green) on bass. They'll be playing at The Duke of Cumberland in Whitstable on the 25th of July.

Utopia Reissue

Partial Records has rereleased the Utopia 7" single (Black Star Liner, 1981) which was recorded at Harry J's, in Jamaïca while G.T. Moore was staying there to work on Lee 'Scratch' Perry's album The Return of Pipecock Jacxon together with UK musicians James Lascelles and Bud Beadle whom were also on this session accompanied with Cornell Marshal on drums and Dwight Pickney on Bass.
